Service Agreement
When you bring your vehicle to Quantarion Core, we're entering into a working relationship. Here's the deal:
Estimates & Authorization
We'll give you an estimate before we start any major work. But here's the thing - sometimes once we dig in, we find additional issues. If that happens and the cost's gonna go up significantly, we'll call you first. We won't do unauthorized work just to rack up the bill.
Payment Terms
Payment's due when you pick up your vehicle. We accept cash, debit, and major credit cards. If there's gonna be an issue with payment, talk to us beforehand - we can usually work something out. But we can't release your vehicle until the bill's settled.
Warranty on Our Work
We stand behind our work. Labor's typically warranted for 90 days or 5,000 km, whichever comes first. Parts warranties vary depending on the manufacturer - we'll let you know what's covered when we do the work. This doesn't cover normal wear and tear or new issues that pop up.
Vehicle Storage
If your car's gonna be sitting here for a while after it's done, we need to know. We've got limited space, and after 10 days, we might need to charge a storage fee. Don't leave your vehicle here indefinitely - we're a repair shop, not a parking lot.
Liability
We'll take good care of your vehicle while it's in our hands, but we're not responsible for pre-existing damage or items left inside. Don't leave valuables in your car. We're also not liable for issues that result from deferred maintenance or problems you knew about but didn't mention.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule, give us at least 24 hours notice. If we've already ordered special parts for your job, you might be on the hook for those costs.
How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep service records for as long as you're an active customer, plus a few years after your last visit. This helps us if you come back after a while, and it's also required for warranty and legal purposes. Financial records stick around for seven years because that's what the tax folks require.
Security Measures
Here's what we do to keep your information secure:
- Password-protected computer systems that only authorized staff can access
 - Encrypted online payment processing - we don't see or store your full credit card details
 - Physical records locked in secure filing cabinets
 - Regular software updates and security patches

International Data Transfers
We're a local Vancouver shop, so your data stays in Canada. We don't transfer information internationally unless you specifically request it or it's necessary for a particular service (like dealing with a manufacturer outside Canada).
