Here's the straight answers to what most folks want to know

Depends on what's going on, honestly. Simple stuff like reading a check engine light might take 30 minutes. But if we're tracking down an intermittent electrical issue or something that only happens when the car's hot? Could take a couple hours. We charge by the hour for diagnostics, and we'll keep you posted if it's taking longer than expected. Most of the time though, we can figure things out in about an hour to ninety minutes.

Pretty much everything except super exotic stuff. We've got the right scanners and access to technical info for most domestic, European, and Asian vehicles. If you've got something really specialized like a Ferrari or Lamborghini, we'd probably recommend a specialist shop. But your average car or truck? Yeah, we can handle it. We do tons of BMWs, Toyotas, Hondas, Fords, GMs - you name it.

Nope, that's actually illegal in Canada. They can't void your warranty just because you didn't go to the dealer. As long as we use quality parts and do the work properly (which we do), your warranty stays intact. We keep detailed records of everything too. Only catch is if you're doing heavy modifications - that could affect specific warranty coverage, and we'll let you know upfront if that's the case.

We do a full multi-point inspection every time - check your fluids, brakes, tires, belts, hoses, lights, all that stuff. Then we'll do whatever service you came in for, whether that's an oil change, transmission service, coolant flush, whatever. After, we'll give you a written report on what we found and what might need attention soon. No pressure though - just info so you can plan ahead. Some shops check like three things and call it good, but we actually look at the whole car.

Yeah, we're certified for high voltage systems. Got the proper tools and safety equipment to work on hybrids and EVs safely. We can diagnose battery issues, work on charging systems, handle inverter problems - all that stuff. Seen a lot of Teslas, Leafs, Bolts, Priuses come through here. Electric cars still need regular maintenance too, just different stuff than traditional engines. Brakes, suspension, cooling systems for the batteries - we've got you covered.

Really depends on what you're looking for and what vehicle you've got. A basic ECU tune might run $500-$800, but if you're doing a full build with supporting mods, custom tuning, dyno time - that's gonna be more like $1,500-$3,000 or higher. We'll sit down with you first, figure out your goals and budget, then put together a plan. Some cars respond great to just a tune, others need more work to see real gains. We'll be honest about what makes sense for your specific ride.

Absolutely. All our labor is warranted for 12 months or 20,000 km, whichever comes first. Parts warranty depends on the manufacturer - some give 1 year, some give lifetime. We'll tell you upfront what the warranty is on any part we're installing. If something we did fails within the warranty period, bring it back and we'll take care of it. No hassle, no arguing - that's just how we do business.

For quick stuff like oil changes or basic services, sure - we've got a waiting area with decent coffee and Wi-Fi. But for bigger jobs that'll take a few hours or all day, you're probably better off not hanging around. We can give you a ride to nearby transit or you can grab an Uber. We'll call or text you when your car's ready. Just depends on what you're comfortable with and how long the job's gonna take.
